House Manager / Nanny Position (Chantilly, VA)

Location: Chantilly, VA
Compensation: $40/hour
Schedule: Wednesdays and Fridays, about 5 hours per day (daytime hours flexible to the candidate’s availability)
Guaranteed Hours: 10–15 hours per week
Commitment: Long-term, live-out

Position Overview
A warm, active family relocating to Chantilly, Virginia this January is looking for a dependable, organized House Manager / Nanny to help keep their home running smoothly. This role is about 80% household management and 20% childcare. The family has two energetic children, ages 4 and 2, who attend school Monday through Friday during typical school hours. The family also has a large, friendly German Shepherd. A dog walker and a yard service handle pet care, and a cleaner comes twice a month. This is a great fit for a self-starter who takes initiative, works independently, and wants a long-term role with a flexible daytime schedule.

Responsibilities

• Keep common areas tidy and organized
• Do family laundry: washing, folding, and putting away
• Wash dishes and keep the kitchen clean
• Prep family meals
• Run household errands
• Provide childcare as needed for two energetic children, ages 4 and 2
• Spot what needs doing and handle it without being asked

Requirements

• Previous house management or nanny experience
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for errands
• Comfortable around a large dog
• Dependable, organized, and self-motivated
• Able to commit long-term
• Must be able to provide 3–5 professional references
