We are looking for a Senior Delphi Developer to develop, maintain, and enhance business-critical applications, with a strong emphasis on backend development. In this role, you will work across legacy and modern technologies to deliver reliable, scalable, and efficient software solutions. You will contribute to application architecture, database modeling, and REST and SOAP API development while helping resolve technical issues and improve system usability. Working collaboratively with other technical professionals, you will participate in the analysis and specification of new features and enhancements. Application Development and Maintenance: Develop, maintain, and enhance frontend and backend systems, with a primary focus on backend functionality and reliability.
Delphi Development: Implement new features, corrections, and improvements using appropriate development methods and techniques for Delphi-based applications.
Technical Analysis and Specifications: Participate in analyzing business and technical needs, helping define specifications and solutions for new implementations.
Application Support and Optimization: Troubleshoot system issues, implement corrective measures, and deliver improvements that reduce errors, strengthen stability, and enhance usability.
Database Modeling and Development: Design data models and create database scripts for Oracle, supporting application functionality and evolving business requirements.
API Development and Integration: Develop and maintain REST and SOAP APIs to enable effective communication and integration between systems.
Software Quality and Continuous Improvement: Apply suitable development practices and collaborate with the team to maintain application quality, performance, and long-term maintainability.

Requirements

Delphi Development: Professional experience developing, maintaining, and enhancing applications using Delphi.
C# and .NET: Experience developing applications with C# and .NET Framework versions 4, 4.5, and 4.6, as well as .NET Core.
Backend Web Development: Practical experience building and maintaining the backend layer of web applications.
Dependency Injection: Experience working with dependency injection mechanisms and at least one of the following technologies: Castle Windsor, Autofac, Ninject, or Microsoft.Extensions.DependencyInjection.
ORM Technologies: Experience with object-relational mapping tools, such as NHibernate, Microsoft Entity Framework, or an equivalent solution.
JavaScript and Node.js: Experience developing with JavaScript and Node.js.
Frontend Technologies: Experience with at least one of the following technologies: RequireJS, React, or Knockout.js.
Database Technologies: Experience working with at least one of the following database systems: Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL.
Version Control: Familiarity with version control tools, preferably Git.
Agile Methodologies: Knowledge of agile development practices, including Scrum and Kanban.
Education: A degree in Information Systems, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is desirable. Relevant technology courses, specializations, and certifications are also beneficial.
Healthcare Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with health insurance operations, Brazilian regulatory requirements from the ANS, or the TISS healthcare information exchange standard is an advantage.
Collaboration and Problem-Solving: Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively on technical analysis, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.
