Digital Transformation Artificial Intelligence Trainee

Supports the AI team in designing, building, testing, documenting, and supporting AI solutions (such as AI agents, knowledge assistants, document intelligence, and voice bots) through a structured six-month on-the-job training program. The role builds hands-on capability in Python, large language models, data preparation, and AI testing under senior guidance, with the goal of being ready to perform as a Junior AI Developer upon successful completion of the program.

AI Solution Development Support:

·                  Assists in building and enhancing AI solutions such as AI agents, knowledge assistants, document intelligence, and voice bots under the guidance of senior team members. 

·                  Writes, tests, and documents Python code, prompts, and configurations in line with the team's coding standards and version-control practices. 

·                  Builds proof-of-concept components and reusable modules that can be shared across AI projects. 

Supports the integration of AI solutions with business systems, APIs, and cloud AI services.

Testing, Quality & Evaluation:

·                  Prepares and executes test scenarios and test suites for AI solutions before release. 

·                  Evaluates model and prompt outputs for accuracy, relevance, grounding in approved sources, and quality in both Arabic and English. 

·                  Logs, tracks, and retests defects until closure, and reports results to the AI Manager. 

• Supports business users during user acceptance testing and captures their feedback.

Data Preparation & Knowledge Management:

·                  Collects, cleans, and structures data and approved documents used to ground and evaluate AI solutions. 

·                  Maintains taxonomies, test data sets, and knowledge sources used by AI agents. 

• Adheres to company data privacy, information security, and AI governance policies when handling business data.

Documentation & Production Support:

·                  Prepares technical documentation, release notes, and user guides for new and updated AI solutions. 

·                  Monitors deployed AI solutions, reports issues, and supports the team in applying fixes and enhancements. 

• Prepares demonstrations of AI solutions for internal stakeholders.

Learning & Readiness for Junior AI Developer Role:

·                  Completes the structured six-month on-the-job training plan: foundations (months 1–2), guided delivery on live projects (months 3–4), and independent delivery of assigned components (months 5–6). 

·                  Delivers an end-to-end capstone component on a live AI project, from requirements through testing and documentation, by the end of month 6. 

·                  Participates in code reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions, and applies feedback to improve work quality. 

• Reviews progress against agreed training goals in monthly check-ins with the AI Manager and completes the final readiness assessment for the Junior AI Developer role

Educational Requirements: Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field.

Special Certification or Training Required: Optional – Microsoft Azure AI Fundamentals or a recognized Python / machine learning course is preferred.

Required Industry Experience: Minimum 0–1 Years of Experience (fresh graduates welcome; internships or AI graduation projects are an advantage).

Technological Requirements: Good command of Microsoft Suites; basic Python programming skills.

Language Requirements: Good command of English (spoken and written); Arabic is an advantage.
