About Megaport
We’re not your typical tech company – and we don’t want to be. Megaport is the global leader in Network as a Service (NaaS), and has transformed the way businesses connect to the cloud, data centers, and each other. We’re publicly listed on the Australian Stock Exchange and partnered with the biggest names in tech like Amazon, Microsoft, Google, Oracle, IBM, and more. Headquartered in Brisbane with a crew of over 600 people spread across Asia-Pacific, Europe, and the Americas, our employees enjoy an environment that is collaborative, supportive, and (actually) fun.

Our Team Culture
We’re a team of problem solvers, pixel pushers, code slingers, and cloud fanatics. Culture is more than a poster on the wall here – collaboration beats hierarchy, curiosity fuels our growth, and everyone’s voice matters. We take our work seriously, but not ourselves. We work across time zones to execute on our global vision, trust each other to get things done, and never compromise our values for commercial gain. Most importantly, we place our customers at the center of everything we do.

We’re committed to increasing representation in the tech industry and welcome applicants from all backgrounds. Don’t meet every requirement? That’s okay. If you’re excited about this role, we encourage you to apply.

  • Monitor the finance systems budget, including licensing, vendor services, headcount and project costs.
  • Establish and maintain governance frameworks for change management, release management, access control and system documentation.
  • Report on system performance, project status, risks and team outcomes to senior leadership.
  • Oversee the management, configuration and customisation of Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations modules to meet the evolving needs of the organisation.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and ensure they are translated into effective, sustainable system solutions.
  • Ensure regular system audits are conducted to maintain data integrity, security and compliance with regulatory and internal control standards.
  • Oversee integrations between Dynamics 365 and adjacent finance, HR, data and reporting platforms.
  • Own the financial systems project portfolio from initiation through to completion, ensuring delivery against timelines, budgets and quality standards.
  • Ensure comprehensive project plans are in place, including resource allocation, risk management and communication strategies.
  • Lead cross-functional teams and external vendors to achieve project objectives, escalating and resolving issues as required.
  • Serve as the senior point of contact and escalation for third-party vendors and implementation partners providing financial systems solutions.
  • Evaluate vendor performance, negotiate and manage contracts, and maintain vendor relationships to ensure alignment with organisational goals and service level agreements.
  • Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to identify vendors and solutions that could enhance the financial systems landscape.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to streamline processes, optimise workflows and enhance system functionality to drive efficiency and improve decision-making.
  • Embed best practices and industry standards for financial systems management, drawing on insights from benchmarking and peer organisations.
  • Ensure effective user training and ongoing support programs are in place to maximise system utilisation and user proficiency.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems or a related field; CPA or CA preferred.
  • Extensive experience in financial systems management, with significant depth in Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations or a comparable enterprise ERP.
  • Demonstrated people leadership experience (typically 5+ years), including direct management of technical or systems teams, recruitment, performance management and staff development.
  • Experience building and managing blended internal, contractor and partner resources.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex systems projects, including the ability to prioritise, manage competing demands and deliver within established deadlines and budgets.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in vendor management, contract negotiation and commercial management of licensing and services.
  • Experience developing systems strategy and roadmaps.
  • Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the credibility to influence at executive level and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organisation.
  • Continuous improvement mindset with a track record of driving process enhancements and system optimisation.
