As a Security Officer Screening Operations in Grand Rapids, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener at a logistics and distribution location, you will help support a secure, welcoming environment by monitoring access points, screening personnel and visitors, and reporting security-related concerns. • →Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-screening protocols, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• →Screen employees, visitors, contractors, and deliveries entering and exiting the logistics and distribution location in accordance with established procedures.
• →Monitor access points, verify credentials, inspect authorized packages or property as directed, and document screening activity.
• →Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and complete required reports.
• →Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report security-related concerns.

• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
