CAD Draughtsman / Digitization Executive

We are looking for a detail-oriented and enthusiastic CAD Draughtsman to join our operations team. This role is ideal for freshers or candidates with up to one year of experience

Key Responsibilities

• Clean up and update as built  2D CAD drawings
• Assist in cleaning up building core and shell, workplace layouts, furniture plans, workstation configurations, and space-planning drawings.
• Convert PDF drawings, sketches, and redlines into accurate CAD files.
• Assist in preparing architectural drawings and generating 2D and 3D drawing packages using Saltmine software. 
• Convert existing CAD/ PDF layouts into Saltmine files to help clients visualize workspaces in both 2D and 3D.
• Input and finalize project data/quantities for drawings within the Saltmine platform.
• Maintain drawing accuracy, dimensions, layers, annotations, blocks, and file standards.
• Incorporate feedback and revisions from designers and project teams within agreed timelines.
• Ensure drawings are organized, updated, and maintained according to project documentation standards.
• Collaborate with workplace designers, project managers, and other team members to support project deliverables.
• Learn and follow Saltmine’s design workflows, quality standards, and technology-enabled processes.
  

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, Drafting, or a related field.
• Basic proficiency in AutoCAD 2D.
• Understanding of architectural drawings, dimensions, scales, and drafting conventions.
• Good attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions.
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Strong learning agility and a willingness to learn, adapt to, and work with new software, digital tools, and emerging technologies. 
• Ability to manage multiple drawing revisions and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills

• Basic knowledge of commercial office layouts, furniture layouts, or interior design drawings.
• Familiarity with reading architectural floor plans and understanding building layouts.
• Exposure to SketchUp, Revit, or other design tools is an advantage but not mandatory.

A motivated fresher or early-career professional with good AutoCAD fundamentals, strong attention to detail, a learning mindset, and an interest in workplace design and technology.
