As an Associate Manager, Clinical Supply Chain, you will oversee the planning, packaging, labeling, and distribution of investigational medicines for clinical trials. You will develop and manage supply plans that ensure patients receive the right clinical materials at the right time while minimizing waste and operational risks. Working closely with Clinical Operations, Regulatory, Quality, and CMC teams, you will coordinate supply requirements, inventory management, and production schedules. You will also collaborate with external manufacturing, packaging, and distribution partners to maintain quality, compliance, and reliable delivery. Join a collaborative, science-driven environment where operational excellence directly supports clinical development and helps advance innovative treatments for patients.

  • Clinical study support: Represent Clinical Supply Chain on Clinical Study Teams, collaborate with internal stakeholders, and contribute to program development activities when required.
  • Supply planning and forecasting: Partner with Clinical Operations to understand clinical demand, align supply plans with study requirements, and establish timelines that support uninterrupted trial execution.
  • Production scheduling: Independently develop clinical supply and inventory plans, establish production schedules for clinical trial materials, monitor schedule adherence, and implement adjustments when necessary.
  • Inventory and product management: Manage good manufacturing practice (GMP) inventory throughout the supply chain, maintain accurate inventory reports, monitor product expiry dates, and ensure proper drug accountability.
  • External partner coordination: Monitor daily activities involving finished-goods labeling and packaging contract manufacturing organizations (CMOs) and distribution vendors, ensuring alignment with internal stakeholders.
  • Quality investigations and corrective actions: Investigate supply chain exceptions, identify root causes, implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs), and ensure timely resolution and documentation.
  • Labeling compliance: Review label text and proofs to ensure compliance with applicable regulations, product specifications, and clinical study protocols.
  • Interactive response technology (IRT): Support user acceptance testing, develop IRT supply strategies and drug allocation parameters, and oversee ongoing supply activities within the system.
  • Shipment and logistics coordination: Coordinate and track bulk shipments to contract manufacturing organizations, depots, and external vendors while maintaining and monitoring import licenses.
  • Supply chain risk management: Develop strategies to optimize supply efficiency, reduce material waste, identify potential disruptions, and implement appropriate risk mitigation plans.
  • Process improvement: Contribute to functional projects that strengthen clinical supply operations, improve workflows, and enhance overall supply chain effectiveness.
  • Documentation and procedures: Assist in developing, reviewing, and updating standard operating procedures (SOPs) and other process documentation to maintain consistent and compliant practices.
  • Performance and deliverable oversight: Monitor the deliverables of supporting staff involved in supply planning and business process development to ensure successful clinical study management.
  • Cross-functional communication: Maintain effective communication with internal teams and external partners, proactively addressing issues that could affect clinical supply timelines or product availability.
