Waterpark Slide Attendant 

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Waterpark Slide Attendant. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining guests’ safety while they enjoy the water park.    

As part of our team, you’ll embody our Promise to Lead with Love—guiding, supporting, and inspiring associates while delivering extraordinary guest experiences. You’ll oversee the safety of guests in all pools, hot tubs, slides, attractions, and interactive features, in the indoor and outdoor water park areas.  

Pay Rate: $15 per hour + $1 per hour for open availability.* 

Key Responsibilities   

• Assisting with opening and closing procedures of water park rides and park cleanliness. 

• Ensure that all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly, and courteous service always 

• Communicating with guests about attraction requirements and safety concerns. 

• Administering first aid or CPR, as necessary. 

• Being alert and regularly inspecting pools and slides for any hazards or safety risks. 

• Physical stamina and endurance to perform duties in an active, high-energy environment. 

Work Environment 

This job operates in an active and loud environment. Candidate must be comfortable with frequent changes in the environment temperature. Candidate must be able to work in indoor and outdoor weather conditions. 

What We’re Looking For   

• Previous amusement and recreation attendant positions in a large waterpark, recreational facility, or hotel/resort are helpful     

• Must be able to frequently work in outdoor hot/humid/sunny weather conditions as well as indoor warm/humid environments

*Sign On Bonus Criteria: Newly hired lifeguards are eligible for a $1,000.00 sign-on bonus. $500 after being hired and successfully passing lifeguard certification and another $500 after completing 90 days of employment and working at least 25 shifts.
