Student Position: Software Toolchain & Debugger Development (f/m/d)

Join our Toolchain team at NXP in Gratkorn and work alongside experienced engineers on software tools and debugger technologies. This part-time position gives you the opportunity to apply what you learn at university, explore different programming languages and technologies, and build valuable industry experience alongside your studies.

• →Develop, test and debug software tool components using Java, Python, C, C++, Rust and C#
• →Support the automation of build and test systems using Jenkins
• →Create and maintain technical documentation
• →Contribute to debugger development by analyzing and reproducing reported issues and verifying fixes
• →Collaborate with experienced engineers and gain hands-on experience in professional software development
  

• Ongoing studies in Computer Science, Information and Computer Engineering, Software Development, Mathematics, or a related field
• Good programming skills in Java and C++
• Experience with Eclipse, Python, C, C#, LLVM/compilers, Git, SVN and/or Jenkins is a plus
• Good spoken and written English
• An independent, structured and accurate way of working
• Motivation to take initiative, learn and adapt in a dynamic technical environment
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Valid work authorization required
• Availability of approximately 20 hours per week (duration over 6 months)

Please note: The successful candidate may/will be responsible for security related tasks. The assignment may/will be in scope of security certifications, therefore a conscious and reliable way of working is necessary.

The minimum salary for this position is EUR 2.800,- gross/month for full-time equivalent at NXP Austria.
