Housekeeping Aide

As a Housekeeping Aide at Minden Medical Center, you help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment that supports patient care. You’ll perform hospital housekeeping services across assigned areas, following established cleaning and infection-prevention practices.

Key responsibilities include routine and detailed cleaning, room/area turnover support, trash and linen handling, and reporting supply needs or safety concerns promptly.

Qualifications/skills:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Three months of health care or commercial housekeeping experience preferred

Your day moves through an acute care hospital that includes an inpatient psych facility (IPF), inpatient rehab facility (IRF), and surgical areas. You’ll rotate between quieter moments that call for focus and privacy awareness, and busier stretches where priorities shift quickly. You’ll coordinate with nurses and other departments, respond to urgent needs, and finish the shift knowing the next patient, visitor, or teammate is walking into a space that feels orderly and cared for.
