As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Response in Danville, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, respond to alarms and incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. • →Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• →Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, access points, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• →Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and contractor entry, and reporting access-control concerns according to site procedures.
• →Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and prepare required reports.
• →Observe and report potential hazards, equipment issues, property damage, and policy violations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

• Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
