In this senior engineering role, you will lead the design, development, and optimization of Salesforce Sales Cloud capabilities supporting more than 1,000 users. You will enhance prospecting, lead management, pipeline visibility, and relationship management through automation, integrations, and actionable analytics. The role also offers opportunities to advance AI-powered sales experiences through Agentforce and improve collaboration between Sales Cloud and Marketing Cloud. Working closely with cross-functional stakeholders, you will translate business needs into secure, reliable, and user-friendly technical solutions. This is an opportunity to shape enterprise sales technology while contributing to continuous innovation, operational efficiency, and seller productivity.

As a Senior Salesforce Engineer, you will own the development and ongoing improvement of Sales Cloud capabilities, ensuring they meet business objectives, architectural standards, and security requirements. You will support the full delivery lifecycle, from solution design and configuration to testing, deployment, adoption, and production support.

  • Design, configure, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable Salesforce Sales Cloud solutions across development, UAT, and production environments.

  • Build and manage core sales data models involving Leads, Accounts, Contacts, Campaigns, Opportunities, Activities, and custom objects, including fields, validation rules, Lightning pages, permissions, and sharing settings.

  • Develop web-to-lead infrastructure across multiple products and sales channels, and manage business data imports from external sources and internal systems.

  • Implement and optimize the end-to-end lead lifecycle, including capture, enrichment, scoring, prioritization, routing, assignment, duplicate management, conversion, and handoff to Sales and Relationship Management teams.

  • Build prospecting journeys and seller productivity features using Sales Engagement cadences, work queues, guided tasks, automated follow-ups, and workflow automation.

  • Deliver guided selling, Sales Path, in-app guidance, opportunity-stage governance, pipeline inspection, forecasting, and dashboards that help sales teams and managers improve performance.

  • Design, configure, and continuously improve Agentforce for Sales capabilities, including AI-assisted prospecting, lead engagement, account research, meeting preparation, record updates, pipeline insights, and sales coaching.

  • Implement appropriate AI agent actions, prompt templates, grounding, guardrails, access controls, monitoring, and human handoffs to support responsible and reliable AI adoption.

  • Configure Salesforce Distributed Marketing features, including CRM-side components, permissions, campaign and Quick Send experiences, audience selection, personalization inputs, engagement tracking, and data mappings.

  • Collaborate with Marketing Cloud teams to maintain reliable integrations, synchronized data, campaign execution, personalization, and engagement tracking between Sales Cloud and Marketing Cloud Engagement.

  • Automate business processes using Salesforce Flow and approvals, applying Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL/SOSL, APIs, and platform events when custom development is required.

  • Integrate Sales Cloud with approved lead sources, data enrichment services, email and calendar tools, telephony, sales intelligence, analytics, and enterprise platforms while ensuring synchronization, data quality, and auditability.

  • Develop reports and dashboards to monitor lead response times, conversion rates, prospect engagement, cadence effectiveness, seller activity, pipeline health, forecast accuracy, and solution adoption.

  • Partner with Sales, Relationship Management, Marketing, Data Science, Product, Architecture, IT, Data, Security, Compliance, and other stakeholders to deliver practical and scalable solutions.

  • Improve user adoption through intuitive desktop and mobile Lightning experiences, user acceptance testing, documentation, release communications, administrator enablement, and business-user readiness.

  • Maintain engineering quality through automated, unit, and functional testing; strong code quality and test coverage; production troubleshooting; source control; and Copado-based releases.

  • Apply security controls, data privacy requirements, disaster recovery principles, and platform governance standards to Salesforce processes and capabilities.

  • Participate in monthly cross-segment Salesforce governance meetings, manage case intake from B2B users, execute case requests, and develop reporting to track and monitor those requests.
