Job Description:

At GDIT, people are our differentiator. We are seeking an experienced Cloud Administrator to optimize, implement, and maintain our organization’s cloud-based systems. Responsibilities include deploying and debugging systems, as well as executing new cloud initiatives.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPEREINCE:

Experience in developing software using languages such as Java, Python, C++ or Ruby.
Excellent programming skills to ensure the proper interpretation and implementation of code.
Experience with DevOps/Platforms: Amazon Web Services (S3, RDS, EC2, ECS, Lambda, SQS, SNS, CloudFormation, etc.), Docker, Ansible. 
Documented experience with open-source technology, software development and system engineering.
Demonstrated experience utilizing DevOps tools, such as GitHub and Jenkins, to enable continuous integration and continuous delivery
Identify, analyze, and resolve infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues
Regularly review existing systems and make recommendations for improvements and cost efficiencies.
Develop and maintain cloud solutions in accordance with customer best practices and guidance.
Demonstrated experience working with Agile Scrum based development team. 
Interact with clients, provide cloud support, and make recommendations based on customer needs
Strong understanding of web services, API, REST.
Demonstrated experience working with Agile Scrum based development team

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience
Experience: 8+ years
Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI with Polygraph
Location: Herndon, VA – On Customer Site
