Supplier Quality Engineer

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and 2 years of experience.
• Experience with quality assurance concepts and methodologies.
• Experience using Microsoft Office tools, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience working with management to resolve engineering issues.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Confidential security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

• Previous work experience in quality engineering.
• Experience with developing solutions to issues using a systematic approach.
• Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Familiarity with counterfeit avoidance industry standards and practices.
• Ability to work independently under general direction.

We are currently looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer to work at our McKinney, Texas facility.

• →Interpret quality requirements, industry standards, and contractual regulations for application to Raytheon procurements.
• →Support the maintenance and improvement of Raytheon’s counterfeit avoidance policies.
• →Ensure counterfeit avoidance requirements are effectively communicated and flowed down to suppliers.
• →Coordinate approvals for high-risk counterfeit procurements.
• →Conduct collaborative communication with suppliers, cross-business teams, and customers.
• →Support independent distributor approval and maintenance efforts, including recurring assessments.
• →Attend counterfeit avoidance industry conferences and seminars to align with best practices.
• →Travel within the United States (<10%) to assess approved independent distributors and associated testing laboratories
