→Degree in graphic design, fine arts, visual communication, design technology or related field

1-3 years experience in graphic design and production in the print industry; familiarity with print house production and industry trends a plus.
Adobe Creative Suite: 1-3 years
Must understand the importance of unified institutional messages through a variety of formats and have a portfolio of current design work showing experience in creating targeted, audience-driven communications and brand marketing.

Proven organizational abilities, including project management and working on a deadline with multiple projects in play.
Demonstrated understanding of fundamentals of graphic design: composition, color theory, typography, brand identity, art and photography management.
Demonstrate respect for diversity of identities and experiences, an orientation toward equity and inclusion, and cultural competency in all aspects of Academy life.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Acrobat.
Extensive knowledge of all aspects of print and digital design and production, including image optimization and designing for email and web.
Strong collaborator in creative and production workflows.
Experience with basic data management systems and Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Familiarity with direct mail solicitation and postal design preferred.
Willingness and ability to learn additional applications and skills as needed.
Strong interpersonal skills with ability to develop and maintain collegial relationships.
