Substation Drafter

The successful candidate will have a desire to learn the design aspects of various substation projects from 15kV up to 500kV.  You will work with our senior staff to learn and strengthen your understanding of designing utility class electrical substations

• →High School Diploma
• →Demonstrated interest in substation or power engineering through applied academic coursework, internships, or past experiences.
• →Demonstrated work experience in the technical arena with specialized computer software
• →Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook) 
• →Good written and verbal communications skills 

• Prepares plans and details with limited complexity  in support of broader engineering activities  
• Preparing schematic and wiring layouts
• Working with our engineers to incorporate redline markups
• Works within a design group to complete projects
