Catering Attendant

This will be posted internally until the 11th or filled.$19.64 an hour

Responsibilities:

Under the direction of the Catering Managers, will be responsible for timely, efficient, accurate service for special function patrons and their dining experience. This may include family rooms, catering rooms, special events for KSE or Legends and all other catering events as needed.
 

• Must maintain a friendly, positive attitude and a professional demeanor at all times.
• Reports for scheduled event on time and reports to assigned area in a timely manner. Set up needs to be completed quickly and efficiently 30 mins prior to event start.

Need open availability
• Fulfills opening and closing duties as dictated by management.
• Maintains the highest level of professionalism and service while abiding by Legends’ service standards.
• Sets up 30 mins in advance, maintains, and responsibility for breaks down and close for all functions.
• Is knowledgeable of other food, beverage, and retail outlets within the stadium.
• Must have extensive knowledge of food and beverage menus, specials, and services offered. Including having bartending, serving and catering experience

Must abide by Legends Alcohol service policies, carding every transaction, and not overserving guests.
• Abides by Legends Sequence of Service when interacting with guests, including card and payment received for every transaction.
• Maintains a clean, neat, and safe work environment.
• Communicates and works as a team with other leads and Management
• Works as a team with fellow associates and other service departments within the catering departments, club spaces for private events or VIP events and arena.
• Performs and successfully completes tasks assigned by management.

Must be able to communicate fluently with guests in English. 

Qualifications:

• will not be considered without 3 years Catering experience; and must also have 2 years bartending experience and mixing drinks.
• Must be pleasant, courteous, and enjoy working with people.
• Must be able to work in a team environment and be a self starter
• Must be able to remain calm under stressful situations.
• Must be able to smile, maintain positive body language, and consistently provide positive guest service.
• Must be able to make generalizations, evaluations, and decisions without immediate supervision.
• Must be able to accept and carry out responsibility for directions.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be willing to work hours that vary, according to the event schedule. Nights, evenings weekends an some early am events or breakfastsThis role needs open availability. 
• Must be able to work at a fast pace and meet deadlines. 
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs while walking, must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, pull and push loaded carts, move tables and chairs and set up event spaces. .
• Role included constant standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting and repetitive motions like opening drinks. Able to perform normal lifting and restocking of stock

Must be able to operate the POS. Must be comfortable carding guests every transaction and cutting off service if needed.

Must be very professional and discreet with the VIP's, artists, players, families and client and exercise extreme confidentiality.

Practice safe work habits, follow all safety policies and procedures and regulations, complete company-wide safety training and any additional job specific safety training.
