Mammo Technologist

As a Mammo Tech, you are to demonstrate excellent customer service, communication skills and obtain quality positioning and imaging quality studies while providing maximum comfort and safety to patients. Warm and comforting patient care skills is mandatory for these sensitive procedures. Performs screening and diagnostic mammogram examinations and assists radiologist in performing mammographic procedures. This team member’s role is to obtain images of good diagnostic quality while providing maximum comfort and safety to the patient undergoing these exams.

• Prior Radiologic Technologist experience.

• ARRT-M Advanced Mammography Certification.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and ability to work various software applications.

• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
  

• →Two year college degree in Radiologic Technologist in Applied Science or equivalent.
• →NYS license in Radiologic Technology OR must hold NYS permit and obtain licensure within six months of employment.
• →American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Certification (ARRT-R) required within six months of employment.

New Graduates:

• →Official transcript from accredited school or letter emailed directly from the school’s registrar’s office confirming program completion will be accepted upon graduation.
• →Primary source education verification required within 90 days of start date.

The posted pay range is a good faith representation of potential base pay for this position. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates could vary based on position details and FTE. Pay is determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, locations, and contracts.
