The Senior Systems Admin/Architect is responsible for maintaining and supporting the enterprise PLM system (Siemens Teamcenter) and its connections across the product development and manufacturing landscape. This role ensures the PLM ecosystem remains scalable, secure, and effective in supporting cross-functional workflows including ECAD, mechanical CAD, ERP, manufacturing operations, AI-assisted engineering tools, and developer platforms as part of the Digital Thread.

This hands-on role combines Teamcenter administration, architecture, custom ITK development, cross-system integration support, and production delivery. You will make architectural decisions, merge environments, upgrade systems, write production code, design integrations, deploy templates, and partner with engineering, manufacturing, IT, operations, and cybersecurity teams to deliver scalable solutions that bridge tools, teams, and processes.

Responsibilities

  • →Own Teamcenter architecture including but not limited to deployment, security, data model, modules, environments, configuration, upgrade strategy, templates, and lifecycle governance.
  • →Lead hands-on Teamcenter ITK development includes but not limited server-side utilities, workflow handlers, BOM logic, queries, batch processes, and integrations.
  • →Design and implement Teamcenter customizations including but not limited BMIDE extensions, workflows, business rules, forms, preferences, services, SOA/REST APIs, and Active Workspace extensions.
  • →Develop and maintain Teamcenter data models, object types, attributes, relations, configurations, and lifecycle processes aligned with cross-functional product development needs.
  • →Support, test, and implement integrations connecting Teamcenter with E3 (Epsilon3), NetSuite, Altium, NX, AI-assisted engineering tools, and internal developer platforms.
  • →Develop and maintain CAD/ECAD-to-PLM processes with emphasis on robust product structures, metadata synchronization, change management, and configuration control.
  • →Define data mappings, authentication strategies, error handling, reconciliation processes, monitoring, and operational support models for integrations.
  • →Explore and implement AI-assisted workflows: intelligent part search, automated classification, generative design, design recommendations, anomaly detection, and natural-language interfaces to PLM data.
  • →Make timely architectural decisions under ambiguity, document tradeoffs, set development standards, and ensure production quality code.
  • →Lead production support, root-cause analysis, troubleshooting, and corrective actions using modern engineering practices (source control, code review, automated testing, CI/CD, monitoring).
  • →Work with cross-functional stakeholders, systems integrators, vendors, and external technology partners to clarify needs, evaluate tools, and deliver solutions.
  • →Provide technical leadership and mentorship to developers, administrators, and solution architects while identifying opportunities to simplify the ecosystem and improve developer experience.
