Turn complex business needs into practical technology solutions at Marvin! We’re hiring a Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) Systems Analyst to partner with business and technology teams across our manufacturing and enterprise operations. In this role, you’ll translate requirements into scalable D365 capabilities, improve end-to-end processes, and help teams adopt reliable solutions. Your work will span solution analysis, configuration, integration, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.

You’ll excel if you bring strong D365 functional knowledge, analytical thinking, clear communication, and an understanding of integrated business processes. The ability to build trusted partnerships, explain technical options and tradeoffs, and guide solutions through the full lifecycle will help you succeed in this role. This position may be based in Eagan, Warroad, or Fargo and includes occasional travel of approximately 20%.

  • Partner with stakeholders to understand current processes, identify pain points, document requirements, and define measurable outcomes for D365 solutions.

  • Translate functional requirements into configurations, workflows, business rules, security roles, reports, integrations, and system enhancements.

  • Lead or support fit-gap analysis, solution design, configuration, testing, training, deployment, and post-production stabilization.

  • Analyze and improve processes across manufacturing, warehousing, inventory, procurement, order management, logistics, finance, and master data.

  • Coordinate D365 integrations with enterprise platforms using approved APIs, middleware, Azure services, Dataverse, and Power Platform components.

  • Investigate system issues, perform root-cause analysis, coordinate resolutions, and maintain functional specifications, process flows, test scripts, configuration records, and training materials.

  • Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture, security, data governance, compliance, and change-management standards.

  • Strong functional knowledge of Microsoft D365 to configure and support workflows, business rules, security roles, reporting, personalization, and application lifecycle components.

  • Ability to Translate business requirements into scalable solutions while clearly communicating options, risks, dependencies, and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Use requirements management, process modeling, fit-gap analysis, user acceptance testing, release management, and production-support practices throughout the solution lifecycle.

  • Work with relational data, data migration, validation, reconciliation, SQL concepts, and troubleshooting across integrated enterprise systems.

  • Manage multiple priorities, contribute within a cross-functional agile environment, and independently escalate risks, decisions, and dependencies when appropriate.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.

  • Experience as a systems analyst, business systems analyst, functional consultant, or in a similar role supporting enterprise applications.

  • Hands-on experience implementing, enhancing, or supporting Microsoft D365 applications.

  • Familiarity with Dataverse, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Azure Logic Apps, APIs, data entities, and Azure DevOps or comparable tools.

  • Experience supporting manufacturing, distribution, warehousing, logistics, operational business processes, legacy ERP integrations, or modernization efforts. Microsoft D365 or Power Platform certifications are a plus.
