Are you a senior VMware professional with hands-on experience architecting and deploying complex production environments using VMware Cloud Foundation 9?

We're looking for a VCF 9 Automation Architect / Senior Deployment Engineer who combines deep architectural expertise with the ability to design, deploy, troubleshoot, and operationalize enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure.

This is an opportunity for a true Architect + Engineer to lead complex implementations, drive infrastructure automation, and help organizations modernize their private cloud environments.

⚠️ Important: Current, hands-on production experience with VCF 9 is mandatory. Lab experience, training, research, or legacy Aria Automation expertise alone will not qualify.

• →Architect, deploy, and operationalize VMware Cloud Foundation 9 environments in complex production settings.
• →Lead VCF 9 Management Domain deployments, lifecycle management, upgrades, and platform operations.
• →Design and implement self-service cloud consumption, automated provisioning, catalogs, blueprints, and multi-tenant environments.
• →Deploy and manage core VCF components, including vSphere, NSX, vSAN, VKS, and SDDC Manager.
• →Design and implement network topologies, distributed routing, firewall policies, microsegmentation, and automated networking.
• →Develop and manage Kubernetes clusters and workloads within the VCF ecosystem.
• →Implement infrastructure automation, configuration management, APIs, integrations, and custom deployment pipelines.
• →Support modern AI/ML workloads, GPU-enabled infrastructure, and software development environments.
• →Lead customer discovery, architecture discussions, technical implementations, and transformation initiatives.
• →Develop detailed 30/60/90-day implementation and modernization roadmaps.
• →Troubleshoot complex production incidents and provide technical leadership throughout deployment and operationalization.

• 10+ years of VMware / VCF ecosystem experience or comparable senior-level technical depth.
• Verified, hands-on experience deploying and operating VCF 9 in production environments.
• Experience with VCF 9 releases, including 9.0, 9.0.1, 9.0.2, and/or 9.1.
• Strong expertise across vSphere, NSX, vSAN, VKS, and SDDC Manager.
• Proven experience designing and deploying complex production infrastructure environments.
• Strong knowledge of automation, infrastructure orchestration, multi-tenancy, and self-service cloud consumption.
• Ability to independently architect, deploy, troubleshoot, and operationalize the solutions you design.
• Experience leading customer-facing technical engagements and defending architectural decisions.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and technical leadership skills.

We are particularly interested in candidates with deep expertise in one or more of the following areas:

• VKS: Kubernetes architecture, deployment, and workload management.
• Avi / NSX Advanced Load Balancer: Application delivery, load balancing, integration, and migration.
• SaltStack: Automation and configuration management.
• VCF Automation (VCFA): Self-service provisioning, governance, workload management, and multi-tenancy.
• Core VCF Platform: vSphere, NSX, vSAN, SDDC Manager, and VCF lifecycle management.
• Modern AI Infrastructure: GPU-enabled environments, Kubernetes, and AI/ML workload deployment.

• VMware Certified Professional – VMware Cloud Foundation Administrator (2V0-17.25).
• VMware Cloud Foundation Architect (2V0-13.25).
• Other advanced VMware / VCF certifications.

Certifications are a plus, but demonstrated production deployment experience is what matters most.

We are looking for professionals who can demonstrate:

• Personal ownership of complex VCF 9 production deployments.
• The ability to explain architectural decisions and technical trade-offs.
• Hands-on troubleshooting experience with real production incidents.
• Modern infrastructure skills across cloud automation, Kubernetes, networking, and AI workloads.
• A balance of strategic architecture and hands-on engineering.
