As a Senior Systems Engineer within Strategic Defense Solutions (SDS), you will apply your technical expertise to the development of advanced Strategic Nuclear Deterrence capabilities, contributing to the design, integration, and validation of secure, resilient mission systems. In this role, you will collaborate across geographically distributed teams to support systems and cybersecurity engineering efforts for next-generation network, compute, and storage technologies—from early-stage development through accreditation and production.

This position offers the opportunity to expand your leadership and technical capabilities while working alongside experienced professionals in communications and nuclear deterrence. We are seeking motivated engineers who thrive in solving complex problems, driving technical execution, and collaborating across disciplines to deliver innovative solutions for critical missions.

This position is located onsite in Richardson, TX and requires an active Top Secret clearance.

The salary range for this role is 95,500 USD - 181,700 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
