Sea Pricing Team Leader

ACG_3970_JOB Our client is a leading logistics company in Vietnam who is looking for a qualified candidate to join their firm. JOB DESCRIPTION: Manage, update, and control rate sheets on a weekly/monthly basis. Ensure the accuracy and quality of quotations, surcharges, DEM/DET conditions, and timely responses in line with KPIs. Work closely with Sales to develop pricing solutions for key accounts, tenders/RFQs; analyze competitors and recommend appropriate pricing strategies. Coordinate with Procurement to negotiate rates, space allocation, and contracts with shipping lines, NVOCCs, and co-loaders. Work with overseas agents to obtain door-to-door rates and destination local charges, particularly for the US, EU, Intra-Asia, and China trade lanes. Monitor and analyze freight market trends and recommend appropriate buying and selling strategies. Lead, assign tasks, train, and evaluate the Pricing team; develop and standardize SOPs and KPIs. Coordinate with Operations and Accounting/Finance to ensure quotation feasibility, control actual costs, and maintain healthy profit margins. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business Administration or related fields. 4–5 years of experience in Pricing/Procurement within a relevant industry, including at least 1–2 years in a Team Leader or equivalent position. Strong knowledge of pricing structures, surcharges, and relevant procedures. Good network with industry partners, particularly in the Northern Vietnam market, is a strong advantage. Experience in related business operations or specialized projects is preferred. Good command of English, both written and verbal, for daily communication with overseas agents and partners. Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, dashboards); experience with CRM or pricing management systems is an advantage. Strong skills in negotiation, data analysis, problem-solving and decision-making. Good leadership, coaching and time-management skills; able to work effectively under pressure and tight deadlines. Proactive, market-sensitive, detail-oriented and highly responsible, with strong integrity in cost and margin control.
