  • Driving improvements in manufacturing cycle time, productivity, schedule adherence, work-in-process, quality, and on-time delivery.
  • Working with Engineering and Quality to resolve technical, process, and product issues affecting production flow and delivery performance.
  • Ensuring manufacturing teams have the appropriate training, technical capability, standard work, tooling, and information required to execute complex electro-mechanical assemblies effectively.
  • Developing Production Supervisors and strengthening frontline leadership, accountability, performance management, and employee engagement.
  • Establishing effective daily and weekly operating rhythms to review safety, quality, delivery, productivity, material constraints, and recovery actions.
  • Leading structured problem solving and continuous improvement activities to eliminate manufacturing constraints, reduce waste, and improve operational performance.
  • Supporting the introduction and industrialization of new products and manufacturing processes in partnership with Engineering, Quality, and other technical functions.

  • Balancing demand, supply, inventory, and capacity to support customer commitments while maintaining appropriate production flexibility.
  • Optimizing inventory levels while maintaining material availability for manufacturing requirements.
  • Proactively identifying material shortages, capacity constraints, and other risks to the production schedule and implementing mitigation or recovery plans.
  • Coordinating with suppliers, subcontractors, Procurement, and Logistics to resolve shortages and expedite critical material when required.
  • Tracking manufacturing progress against customer delivery commitments and clearly communicating risks, priorities, and recovery actions.
  • Driving improvements in planning accuracy, material availability, inventory performance, and production schedule adherence.

Cross-Functional & Operational Leadership

  • Serving as the primary operational interface between Production, Materials, Logistics, Procurement, Sales, Engineering, Quality, and Maintenance.
  • Aligning cross-functional teams around production priorities, capacity constraints, material availability, and customer commitments.
  • Leading continuous improvement across Production, Planning, and Materials using Lean, Six Sigma, structured problem solving, and data-driven performance management.
