About the role 

The Accounts Receivable Clerk assist the Credit Manager with monitoring accounts receivable, managing credit accounts, following up on outstanding balances, and supporting timely collections.

What you will do 

• Manage and maintain accurate records of outstanding C/L accounts and ensure timely follow-up on payments.
• Respond promptly to guest and credit card inquiries, resolving account discrepancies and processing adjustments as needed.

• Review and verify travel agent payments, ensuring valid IATA numbers and commission eligibility.

• Review group and catering contracts, monitor billing arrangements, and follow up on deposits and advance payments.

• Reconcile City Ledger balances and post payments daily. 

• Assist the Credit Manager with collections, credit references, and other accounts receivable responsibilities.

• Report billing discrepancies and potential issues promptly to the Credit Manager.

What you bring 

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.

• 1 – 2 years of experience

• Knowledge of accounting principles and Accounts Receivable.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Opera systems.

• Strong communication and organizational skills.

• Fluency in English and Spanish written and spoken.

Schedule & Hours: 

• Full-time position 

• Shifts may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays depending on operational needs
