We are looking for an experienced Senior GEO/SEO Consultant to drive organic growth and strengthen digital visibility for a diverse portfolio of clients.
In this strategic and hands-on role, you will lead SEO and Generative Engine Optimization initiatives from initial consultation through execution.
You will help businesses improve their presence across traditional search engines and emerging AI-powered answer platforms.
Combining technical expertise, content optimization, and performance analysis, you will turn complex challenges into actionable growth strategies.
You will work closely with developers, content specialists, data analysts, and client stakeholders to deliver measurable results.
The role also involves managing prospective opportunities and shaping them into structured consulting projects.
It offers the opportunity to contribute to the evolving relationship between marketing, technology, and AI-driven discovery.

You will lead end-to-end SEO and GEO engagements, combining strategic consulting with technical analysis and hands-on optimization. Your main responsibilities will include:

Develop and implement comprehensive SEO and Generative Engine Optimization strategies for local and international clients.
Monitor organic visibility and performance across traditional search engines and AI-powered answer engines.
Conduct technical SEO audits, identify optimization opportunities, and translate findings into clear recommendations.
Optimize website content and assess performance using tools such as Semrush, Sistrix, Screaming Frog, and other relevant analytics platforms.
Collaborate with content creators, developers, and data analysts to coordinate audits, implement improvements, and track results.
Advise clients and stakeholders on SEO and GEO strategies, providing actionable insights aligned with their business objectives.
Manage incoming leads and potential client opportunities, ensuring prospects receive the information and strategic guidance needed to make informed decisions.
Lead client engagements from initial consultation through project definition and execution, turning opportunities into structured initiatives.
Evaluate campaign performance and continuously refine strategies to maximize organic growth and digital visibility.

Requirements

The ideal candidate combines extensive SEO experience with a strong understanding of emerging AI-driven search technologies, alongside proven consulting and project leadership capabilities. You should bring:

At least 5 years of hands-on experience developing and implementing SEO and GEO strategies.
A proven track record of managing complex client engagements, leading projects end-to-end, and delivering measurable organic growth.
Strong technical SEO expertise, including technical audits, website performance analysis, and optimization.
Deep knowledge of content optimization, AI search algorithms, and generative answer engines.
Experience managing leads, consulting with clients, and translating strategic insights into clearly defined project opportunities.
Proficiency with industry-standard SEO tools such as Semrush, Sistrix, and Screaming Frog, as well as web analytics platforms.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and turn findings into practical recommendations.
Excellent communication, consulting, and stakeholder management skills.
Professional fluency in both German and English.
