Senior Accountant - 67609682519

A growing US-based company is looking for a Senior Accountant to own core accounting operations and keep the books accurate, timely, and audit-ready.

You will run the day-to-day accounting cycle, from journal entries and reconciliations through month-end close and financial reporting. You will work closely with finance leadership, review the work of junior accounting staff where needed, and help tighten processes as the business scales. Success looks like clean, on-time closes and numbers the leadership team can trust.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including month-end close ownership
• Strong working knowledge of US GAAP
• Hands-on experience with general ledger accounting, account reconciliations, and accruals
• Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks Online, Xero, or NetSuite
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and lookups
• Fluent written and spoken English

• CPA license or active progress toward one
• Experience preparing financial statements and supporting budgeting or forecasting
• Experience with AP, AR, payroll accounting, or multi-entity consolidation
• Prior experience supporting a US-based team remotely

• →Prepare journal entries, accruals, and adjustments
• →Reconcile bank, credit card, and balance sheet accounts
• →Lead the monthly close and prepare financial statements
• →Review and support accounts payable and accounts receivable activity
• →Maintain accurate documentation to support audits and tax preparation
• →Identify and fix process gaps in accounting workflows
• →Answer questions from finance leadership on balances and variances
