Procurement Officer

We're recruiting a Procurement Officer for one of our clients, who is a well-known marine organization based in Dubai, UAE. About Our Client: Our client is a reputable marine organization in Dubai, recognized for its commitment to high-quality maritime services and operational excellence. With a strong presence across the UAE’s marine sector, the company provides reliable solutions that support both commercial and industrial marine activities while maintaining the highest safety and compliance standards. Key Responsibilities: Procure vessel spare parts, equipment, stores and consumables Obtain quotations, negotiate prices, and prepare purchase orders Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, shipping agents and customs authorities Arrange international shipments and ensure the timely delivery of supplies to vessels Coordinate with the Technical, Marine and Accounts Departments Maintain procurement records, invoices and shipment documentation Monitor costs, outstanding orders, and delivery schedules Requirements Minimum 2–3 years of UAE experience in maritime procurement and logistics Good knowledge of marine spare parts, shipping documentation and customs clearance Strong negotiation, communication and organizational skills Proficiency in MS Office and procurement software Good command of English UAE maritime industry experience is preferred Benefits Employee Benefits as per the UAE Labor Law
