Material Handler

Assists in the production of quality parts by safely transporting parts and materials throughout the production facility. Assists in the proper disposal of waste product.

• →Operates industrial forklifts equipped to move materials around a warehouse, storage yard, factory, or similar location.
• →Manually handles parts and supplies production lines at a fast pace.
• →Participates in routing, counting, and inspecting items while loading and unloading trucks; delivers and returns items.
• →Scan items for inventory.
• →Must know and follow all safety rules.

Other misc. duties deemed necessary by supervisor.

Education and/or Experience               

• →Must have High School Diploma or GED 
• →Forklift experience and experience in a manufacturing environment
• →Must be able to safely work in a fast-paced environment
• →Basic math skills (add/subtract/multiply/divide whole numbers) and attention to details
• →Able to use RF Scanner
• →Knowledge of safety practices

• →Skill in both verbal and written communication
