Based in Gilbert, we are a warm, fun, and deeply family-oriented household of four. Our home is full of energy, love, and laughter — two young children (ages 3 and 6) keep life wonderfully full, and our friendly, well-behaved golden retriever rounds out our lovely family. One parent works full-time from home in a demanding role and travels frequently for work, while the other is home managing the household, including supporting the children’s day-to-day routines, daily cooking, cleaning, tidying, and organizing.
We are an active, routine-driven, and highly intentional household. Our weeks follow a steady rhythm: family breakfast, school drop-offs, mornings at the park and nap time for our youngest, swim lessons every Tuesday, family dinners, and Wednesday date nights. We love celebrating the holidays, including going all out with our decorations, and spending as much time outdoors together as possible. We also enjoy hosting friends, family, and business partners, so our home needs to be tidy, inviting, and guest-ready at a moment's notice. While we love a well-run, reset, organized space, what we value most is the precious time we get to spend connecting as a family.
Although we have a dedicated weekly cleaner and trusted vendors supporting our household, we’re looking for a highly seasoned, proactive house manager who can fill in the gaps in between—starting with taking ownership of the household’s daily operations, creating and maintaining meaningful systems in our home, supporting meal prep, tackling laundry, providing nurturing and attentive light childcare over time as trust develops, consistently resetting and organizing spaces, ensuring the home is guest-ready, and overseeing household inventory and vendors with attention to detail and care.
We are not looking for someone who views this role as just a job or a checklist of items to complete, but rather a long-term career—someone who is looking to develop a lasting professional relationship centered on mutual respect, honesty, and trust. We want a true powerhouse who is highly independent, proactive, and passionate about all areas of household management, so we can focus on what matters most to us: being fully present and truly enjoying the beautiful time we spend together as a family.
You are a highly seasoned house manager who is calm, grounded, and quietly exceptional at what you do. You are incredibly observant and self-directed, easily recognize what needs attention, and feel true satisfaction from supporting others. You would describe yourself as warm, resourceful, positive, independent, and proactive—you think a few steps ahead, create meaningful systems that truly hold up over time, have excellent follow-through, and take pride in a reset, organized household that runs like a well-oiled machine.
The ideal person for this role is someone who takes initiative, naturally anticipates needs, easily prioritizes competing tasks, has excellent time management and organizational skills, and helps create an environment where the family feels truly supported, rather than needing to manage or delegate every detail or task. You independently take ownership of the household’s daily operations, communicate clearly, and you bring your whole self to the work. You are also warm, know how to engage meaningfully with young children (ages 3 and 6), and are comfortable supporting light childcare and family travel as trust builds over time.
You have high emotional intelligence and are comfortable taking cues from the family's rhythms — you know when it’s appropriate to step in or step back and, above all, you prioritize protecting the family’s time together. You must have experience working with dogs and young children, and feel aligned with a lifestyle that values health, wellness, and active, intentional living. You are in this for the long haul and are looking for a lasting professional relationship built on trust, honesty, and mutual respect, and are comfortable with the role’s childcare and travel expansion developing over time.
