As a DevOps Engineer at 1001, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing and optimizing our CICD (Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment) pipelines, as well as managing and maintaining our cloud infrastructure on AWS. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to implement cloud best practices, enhance system reliability, and optimize cloud costs. Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Design, implement, and optimize CICD pipelines to automate software delivery processes.
- →Manage and maintain our cloud infrastructure on AWS, including ECS, RDS, DocumentDB, Redis, etc.
- →Convert cloud infrastructure to code using Terraform.
- →Implement and enforce cloud security measures and best practices.
- →Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and scalability.
- →Collaborate with development teams to streamline deployment processes and improve system reliability.
- →Implement measures to optimize cloud costs and resource utilization.
- →Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and best practices.
Requirements
~1 min read- Proficiency in AWS services, including ECS, RDS, DocumentDB, Redis, CloudFormation, etc.
- Strong experience in designing and implementing CICD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, BitBucket Pipelines, or similar.
- Solid understanding of containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, ELK stack, etc.
- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) for automation and infrastructure management.
- Experience with version control systems like Git.
- Understanding of networking concepts and security best practices in cloud environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies.
- Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a DevOps or cloud engineering role.
- AWS certification(s) such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, etc. (preferred).
