As an Operations Manager in Singapore, you will join a diverse, passionate team, dedicated to powering the world’s payments ecosystem!

This purpose of this Operations Manager is:

Supports the various planning and operational functions of the Business Unit. Planning and operational functions include, but are not limited to, business process analysis, definition and creation of operational execution measurements, assistance with budget planning and monthly forecasting activities, program management, and process improvement. 

Provides planning and operational support to the Business Unit with a focus on the execution of the operating plan and organizational goals. Works to ensure cross-functional alignment and interlock on key commitments as defined in the strategic and operating plans. This role works across the various Business Unit functions and with other organizations, as needed, to ensure alignment of objectives and deliverables from strategic and operations planning, capacity planning, forecasting and process execution. 

Performs monthly analysis to provide executive guidance on financial forecasts, resource prioritization, strategic planning, and budgets. Facilitates cross-function decision management mechanisms to ensure alignment and adoption. Supports monthly Operations Review cadence along with the creation and distribution of key management reporting.  Key driver of the annual planning process for the Business Unit; facilitates the input, review and submission of key Operating Plan deliverables. 

Serves as a key partner to FP&A function, assisting with the development, review, and tracking of key financial data for the business unit.   Supports and provides input into the monthly revenue and expense forecast for the Business Unit. Supports adoption of and adherence to Corporate IT & Infrastructure business processes, systems and metrics.

Provides leadership and oversight for operational processes within and across business units. Ensures that key processes are uniformly defined, implemented and measured. Supports cross-functional teams which are focused on implementations and improvements in operational and strategic processes. Once a strong process has been implemented, this role will support the analysis and business requirements gathering for future system or tool implementations. Additionally, this role provides support for the ongoing governance and compliance to the foundational operational processes.  Requires critical interaction with key cross functional stakeholders to help influence and identify improvement opportunities. Identifies continuous improvement and best practice opportunities, designs and distributes templates to facilitate standardization of work.

A typical day at ACI for an Operations Manager is:

  • Coordinate and align Operational activities within the Business Unit and cross-functionally as needed in support of strategic and operating plans 

  • Ensure appropriate plans are in place to establish, meet and exceed the strategic objectives of the Business Unit as outlined in the operating plan 

  • Manage strategic initiatives for the Business Unit, as required to support ACI's short- and long-term plans 

  • Improve operational systems, processes and policies in support of the Business Unit’s goal, specifically, supporting better management reporting, information flow and management, business process and organizational planning

  • Produce analytical operational performance dashboards for regional stakeholders.

  • Review performance metrics, identifying opportunities for improvement.

  • Provide revenue forecast, manage service backlog, minimize risk, track budgets, expenses and oversee project finance.

  • Drive accurate forecast and financial analysis for the assigned region.

  • Perform other duties as assigned. 

  • Understand and adhere to all corporate policies to include but not limited to ACI code of ethics and global information security. 

 

Knowledge, Skills and Experience needed to succeed in this role: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent work experience 
  • 3 - 5 years’ experience in operations including experience in process management, process metrics, and project/program/portfolio management 
  • Experience with Salesforce and Jira application 
  • Experience with Oracle application 
  • Strong Excel skills 
  • Strong Analytical skills
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting to provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership


Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Experience needed for the job: 

  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written 

  • Ability to work with people from different functional areas and at varying levels 

  • Technical expertise in measurement and numerical analysis; financial modeling 

  • Ability to design and leverage computer-based systems that provide managers with the tools to organize, evaluate and efficiently manage departments within a business function or market segment 

  • Ability to assess organizational learning needs and design/deliver programs and curricula 

  • Ability to manage the effect of new business processes and changes to organizational structure 

  • Ability to identify and solve problems 

  • Ability to explain difficult concepts 

  • Ability to follow up – know when to follow up and how to follow up in an appropriate manner 

  • Open to change 

  • Strong desire to continuously identify ways to improve and/or simplify the operation of the business 

  • Willing to perform detailed, operational tasks as required by the business function or market segment 

  • Knowledge and skills of processes used by the various business functions 

  • Knowledge and skills of specific tools used by the various business functions
