Job Summary

Validate software products through requirements validation and systematic test design to develop, apply, and maintain quality standards for company products. Develop and execute software test plans, test standards, procedures, and automated test cases across modular and solution environments.

Maintain test documentation, analyze results, identify defects, and recommend corrective actions. Execute and provide feedback on performance, load, and stress testing to assess platform and application capabilities across end-to-end solutions. Collaborate with Engineering, Architecture, Product Management, Sales, Support, customers, and vendors to ensure product quality and successful solution validation.

Job Responsibilities

• Review and validate requirements for completeness from both product and customer project perspectives. Identify test coverage, requirement gaps, and risks while maintaining requirements traceability throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop and execute detailed test scripts to validate system functionality.
• Create comprehensive test plans, including testing schedules, resource requirements, test environments, and test data.
• Prepare and manage complex test environments and test data conditions.
• Apply an end-to-end, solution-oriented approach to identify testing requirements across multiple components of products and systems.
• Manage validation testing activities, including test execution, defect logging and tracking, tester coordination, and regression testing.
• Analyze defects from both functional and technical perspectives before assigning them to Development teams.
• Support the conversion of manual test cases into automated tests using appropriate automation frameworks.
• Act as a liaison between customers and Development teams during Acceptance Testing to facilitate issue tracking and resolution.
• Perform regression testing as required before code is re-released to customers.
• Collaborate with Development Engineers to troubleshoot and resolve quality-related issues.
• Develop, execute, and analyze scripts used to capture application and platform quality metrics.
• Provide sizing support to the Sales organization for prospective customers requesting ACI products on ACI-supported hardware platforms.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Understand and adhere to all corporate policies, including but not limited to the ACI Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required for the Job

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience in software testing.
• 3+ years of Quality Engineering and/or systems testing experience.
• Experience in test automation and/or software development.
• Understanding and experience with platform and operating system architecture.
• Experience developing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Understanding of defect analysis, regression testing, and end-to-end solution testing.

• Ability to work effectively with Engineering, Product Management, customers, and other cross-functional stakeholders.

   

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Experience

• Experience working with Test Management and Defect Management tools.
• Relevant software quality/testing certification preferred.

• Experience with automated testing frameworks is preferred.

   

Work Environment

• Standard work environment.
• Majority of time spent using a PC.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
