As a Quality Engineer for Manufacturing Plant in Çorlu, Tekirdağ, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.
Here, you will make an impact by:
Managing customer quality topics, including customer claims, quality issues, and follow-up of corrective and preventive actions
Respond to customers as needed (product development and customer specifications, complaints and CAPA, key account management including customer agreements, data analysis, etc.)
Analyzing internal and external quality issues using structured problem-solving methodologies (8D, 5 Why, Ishikawa, etc.)
Preparing improvement and containment action plans, tracking implementation, and reporting status to relevant stakeholders
Support sustaining and new product introduction projects that deliver products and processes of consistent quality. Supports manufacturing operations to ensure uninterrupted quality production.
Driving existing product quality enhancement through use of continuous improvement methods and tools, such as: Six Sigma, Product and Process Understanding (PPU), Design of Experiments (DOE), Customer Quality Index (CQI) and Quality at the Source.
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
Good command of English, both written and spoken
Entry level experience in Customer Quality and/or Process Quality
Strong knowledge of problem-solving and root cause analysis methodologies (8D, Ishikawa, 5 Why, etc.)
Ability to work effectively on the shop floor and with cross-functional teams
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
Experience with Automotive Industry Action Group (AIAG) Core Tools such as Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA), Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA), Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP)
Experience with IATF 16949
Experience as a quality management system auditor
Microsoft Office proficient, Minitab or another statistical tools a plus
Knowledge of web handling, laminating and mixing manufacturing technologies
