Technical Project Manager

As a Technical Project Manager, you'll be at the centre of delivering the technical change that keeps our systems secure, resilient and fit for the future. It's a great opportunity to work across a varied portfolio of projects, build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, and make a tangible impact on the way we deliver technology change. You'll also have the opportunity to help shape how we balance established project delivery approaches with evolving agile ways of working.

•    Lead the end-to-end delivery of complex technical projects across infrastructure, platforms, information security and wider technology areas
•    Develop and maintain project plans, ensuring delivery against agreed scope, timescales, budgets and quality measures
•    Manage project risks, issues, dependencies and governance throughout the project lifecycle
•    Work closely with technical teams to coordinate delivery activities and remove barriers to progress
•    Build effective relationships with stakeholders, sponsors and business leaders, providing clear and timely project updates
•    Prepare and deliver project reporting, presentations and communications tailored to different audiences
•    Support project governance activities, including stage gates, approvals and benefit realisation
•    Promote safe, secure and effective delivery practices across all projects

•    Experience delivering complex technical projects from initiation through to successful completion 
•    Strong project management skills, including planning, coordination, risk management and stakeholder engagement 
•    Experience working with technical teams and delivering technology-focused change 
•    Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence a wide range of stakeholders, including senior leaders 
•    The ability to manage multiple priorities and remain organised in a fast-paced environment 
•    An understanding of project delivery methodologies, including waterfall and/or agile approaches
