Description - External

The Line Haul Driver handles the accurate and timely pickup of backhauls. They drive 4- or 5-day routes between McLane distribution centers.

NO TOUCH FREIGHT.

Operate a tractor trailer to convey products between McLane distribution centers -- bump the dock or drop & hook trailers.
Inspect your vehicle for defects pre- and post-trip and submit inspection report.
Maintain driver log (manual or PeopleNet) according to DOT regulations.
Work safely to prevent injury to people and damage to products.

Requirements

At least 21 years of age.
Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A).
At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor trailer driving experience.
Meet McLane's MVR and risk rating qualifications.

Candidates may be subject to a background check and drug screen, in accordance with applicable laws.
