Abacus is seeking a skilled and proactive DevOps Engineer to join the Digital Transformation team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure while enabling efficient CI/CD pipelines. This role requires a strong technical foundation, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for automation and continuous improvement.

Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to support rapid and reliable deployments

Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools
→
Monitor system performance, availability, and security across environments
→
Collaborate with development teams to streamline release cycles and improve system reliability

Manage cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability, cost efficiency, and resilience
→
Implement best practices for containerization, orchestration, and microservices
→
Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues, ensuring minimal downtime

Maintain system documentation, processes, and operational procedures

Enforce security, compliance, and governance standards

Requirements

5+ years of hands-on DevOps or Cloud Engineering experience
Strong experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps)
Experience with cloud platforms preferred GCP (AWS, Azure)
Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.)
Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
Solid understanding of Linux systems and networking fundamentals
Experience with monitoring and logging tools
Familiarity with scripting languages (Bash, Python, etc.)
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
