Job Summary
To develop tactical strategy and delivery plans, formulate associated practice/s and to ensure operational implementation and adoption i.t.o. customer analytics methodology, governance and delivery objectives. The role will lead a team of business intelligence analysts, database administrators, solutions designers, visualisation experts and data analysts to delivery accurate reporting, dashboards and insights to drive decision making . The role will also lead decisions on technologies, techniques, and standards in the broader business intelligence community.The Senior Manager of Management Information (MI) is responsible for leading the Management Information, Business Intelligence and Data Analytics capability for Private Wealth Banking. Reporting to the CFO, the role is accountable for delivering high-quality management information, performance insights and to enable data-driven decision support by executive leadership.
The role leads a team responsible for MI reporting, analytics, data governance, business intelligence solutions and reporting enablement, ensuring stakeholders have access to accurate, timely and actionable information. The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of Performance Analytics & Business Partnering, business executives, technology teams and Exco stakeholders to support strategic decision-making, performance management and business growth.

· Leads and develops the MI team and associated specialist resources
Responsibilities

· Lead the delivery of management information, performance reporting, dashboards and business insights across Private Wealth Banking.
· Translate complex data into meaningful insights and recommendations that support strategic and operational decision-making.
· Drive continuous improvement in reporting, automation, analytics and data visualisation capabilities.
· Ensure the accuracy, integrity, security and governance of management information.
· Establish and maintain appropriate controls, standards and processes for MI delivery.
· Identify and manage data, reporting and operational risks impacting the business.
Stakeholder Management
· Partner with executive leadership, Finance, Technology, Data and Business teams to understand information requirements and deliver value-adding insights and data that meets stakeholders need.
· Build strong relationships across the business and act as the key point of contact for MI-related matters.
· Lead, coach and develop a high-performing MI team.
· Drive a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement and service excellence.
· Manage team priorities, resource planning and delivery against business objectives.
Technology & Data Enablement
· Oversee MI technologies, reporting platforms and data infrastructure supporting the business.
· Drive automation, reporting efficiency and modern analytics capabilities.
· Ensure effective management of data dependencies and reporting solutions.
Required Experience & Skills
· Significant experience in Management Information, Business Intelligence, Data Analytics or Performance Reporting.
· Proven leadership experience managing specialist analytical or MI teams.
· Strong knowledge of Finance data, reporting, analytics and business performance management.
· Minimum 7 years Experience with SQL, Power BI and business intelligence tools.
· Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
· Strong problem-solving, leadership and people management capability.
· Experience within Banking, Wealth Management or Financial Services.
· Minimum 7 years Experience with SQL Server, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, SAS, Hadoop, Databricks or similar technologies.
· Must Experience in data governance, data engineering and advanced analytics.
· Relevant postgraduate qualification and/or professional certification.
