We are seeking a Human Capital Analytics Lead to support advanced workforce analytics and data-driven decision-making for a federal customer. This role is ideal for an experienced data professional who can work across large HR datasets, build executive-level dashboards, develop predictive models, and translate complex findings into actionable recommendations for leadership.
The successful candidate will combine strong SQL, Python/R/SAS, data visualization, and statistical modeling skills with the ability to automate workflows and support emerging AI/ML capabilities within a Human Capital environment.
Seniority of this role: MID to SENIOR
Clearance Required for this role: TS/SCI willing to take a CI polygraph.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in data analysis and modeling.
- Minimum 3 years of experience developing automated dashboards, preferably for executive-level audiences.
- Minimum 3 years of SQL database querying experience.
- Minimum 2 years of experience with Python, R, SAS, or a comparable scripting/data manipulation language.
- Minimum 3 years of experience working with large and complex datasets, including datasets of 1M+ records.
- Experience integrating data from multiple systems or data sources.
- Advanced experience with data visualization and business intelligence platforms such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Experience automating data processes and analytical workflows.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex analytical findings to non-technical audiences.
- Active TS/SCI clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with federal HRIS platforms, such as PeopleSoft, Oracle HCM, or Workday.
- Knowledge of federal data governance, privacy, and security requirements.
- At least 2 years of experience with Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or Large Language Models.
- Formal AI/ML training or demonstrated experience applying AI tools to analytical workflows.
- Previous experience supporting Human Capital, workforce analytics, or HR data environments.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze complex workforce and Human Capital data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Develop and maintain automated executive-level HR dashboards and reporting solutions.
- Build and enhance statistical and predictive models to support workforce planning and HR decision-making.
- Query, clean, normalize, and integrate large datasets from multiple HR systems.
- Develop SQL queries and use scripting languages such as Python, R, or SAS for data manipulation and analysis.
- Automate recurring data processes, reporting, and analytical workflows.
- Support data quality, validation, migration, and integration activities in coordination with IT teams.
- Apply AI, Machine Learning, and Large Language Model technologies to improve HR analytics and automate complex analytical tasks.
- Create data visualizations and business intelligence products using tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Present analytical findings and data-driven recommendations to senior leaders and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ensure reports, dashboards, and analytical deliverables meet established quality and performance standards.
