Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineering Lead – Service Portal Senior Developer, a typical day involves providing technical leadership and hands-on expertise in designing, developing, customizing, and maintaining enterprise-grade Service Portal solutions on the ServiceNow platform. This role requires guiding teams through the complete lifecycle of portal design and implementation while ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, performant, maintainable, and aligned with business requirements.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
-Lead the design, development, customization, and enhancement of Service Portal solutions on the ServiceNow platform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify process improvements and implement best practices within the team.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring to support the growth of junior team members.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in ServiceNow, Strong experience as a Service Portal Senior Developer.
- Experience in configuring and customizing ServiceNow modules to meet business requirements.
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture and integration capabilities.
- Ability to develop and maintain workflows, business rules, and client scripts within ServiceNow.
- Familiarity with APIs and low-code development environments to extend application functionality.
- Experience troubleshooting and resolving issues to maintain system stability and performance.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in ServiceNow.
- This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
