Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain QA processes and procedures across the software development lifecycle.
- Create, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for both manual and automated testing.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of automated test suites using modern frameworks and tools.
- Perform functional, regression, and integration testing, ensuring high product quality and reliability.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
- Support the continuous improvement of QA practices, including test automation coverage and efficiency.
- Work with tools such as JIRA and Xray to manage test cases, track defects, and report on testing progress.
- Prepare clear and concise QA reports and documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Development, Product, DevSecOps) to enhance product quality.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, QA methodologies, and automation best practices.
- Ensure compliance with internal standards and relevant regulatory requirements (e.g., security, audit readiness).
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in Quality Assurance (manual and/or automation).
- Basic to intermediate experience with test automation tools and frameworks.
- Familiarity with:
- Java programming language
- Selenium (preferably with Serenity BDD)
- Cucumber (BDD approach)
- JIRA and Xray for test management
- Understanding of software testing methodologies (functional, regression, integration testing).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality.
Nice to Have:
- Exposure to API testing (e.g., Postman, REST Assured).
- Experience in financial services or regulated environments.
- Basic knowledge of performance or security testing.
