As a Senior Financial Operations Specialist with direct access to the CFO and the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), you will be part of ActBlue’s growing Finance team. You will manage the entire client invoice billing, client payments and financial process cycle for all sales products to ensure accuracy, providing support in annual audits preparation and bank account reconciliations. The Senior Financial Operations Specialist prepares a variety of complex financial and regulatory reports based on the financial activity, and is responsible for assisting in the month end close process, and systems integration. You will also serve as a key analytical resource to executive leadership on financial reporting, continuous process improvements, and long-term organizational strategy.

The Senior Financial Operations Specialist will be a key thought partner to the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), especially with regard to the billing process improvement, accounting treatment and revenue validation, the creation of new processes and systems to improve efficiency, developing new and creative ideas for issue resolution, and will engage in higher level strategic project management related to these topics. You also will serve as an expert resource for other members of the Finance team, at both a peer and junior employee level. You will partner with senior leadership across the organization in making tactical and strategic decisions by providing detailed reports and dashboards that inform business reviews, workforce planning, labor strategy, and more. You will be a trusted resource and subject matter expert for departmental and executive leadership.
