Our mission is to help our clients deliver results with clarity, fairness, and accountability. By combining deep technical and functional IT and digital expertise, we drive innovation, modernise systems, and strengthen the teams behind them. If you want your architecture decisions to have real business impact, not just live in a slide deck, we'd love to talk.
We're looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager with strong commercial acumen to lead the delivery of complex technology programmes for our client's UK insurance business. You'll sit at the centre of the delivery ecosystem, bringing together business stakeholders, internal technology teams, and third-party suppliers to deliver on time, within budget, and to the standard our client expects.
This is a hands-on, commercially minded role for someone who is as comfortable challenging a supplier on scope and cost as they are unblocking a technical dependency with an engineering team.

Own the commercial side of delivery, including budgets, forecasting, change control, statements of work, and supplier performance
- →
Support contract negotiations, renewals, and commercial reviews, working closely with procurement, legal, and finance

Identify, manage, and escalate risks, issues, and dependencies, with clear and honest reporting to senior stakeholders
- →
Work with architects and technical leads to ensure solutions are well designed, secure, and aligned with enterprise standards

Drive continuous improvement in delivery practices, governance, and supplier relationships
Extensive experience as a Technical Project Manager or Programme Manager in complex enterprise environments
Strong commercial experience, including managing third party suppliers, negotiating scope and cost, and controlling budgets and change
Solid technical understanding of cloud, integration, data, and modern application delivery, enough to challenge and be challenged by engineers and architects
Proven track record delivering large scale change, such as platform migrations, policy administration or claims system modernisation, or digital customer journeys
Insurance experience is a big plus, with an understanding of products, policies, claims, distribution channels, and customer journeys
Good to have: experience delivering projects involving pricing and quotations, data enrichment, Java based development, and software development testing
Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills
Relevant certifications such as PRINCE2, PMP, APM, or Agile qualifications (highly desirable)
Strong written and spoken English
What We Offer
~1 min readWe combine deep domain knowledge with technical excellence, giving our architects the context to design solutions that actually fit the business, not just the technology. You'll work alongside experienced consultants who value clarity, fairness, and accountability as much as you do.
