Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Lead the Engineering, Maintenance, AME, Automation and Continuous Improvement functions at plant level
- →Develop and implement short- and long-term engineering strategies aligned with business and plant objectives
- →Drive innovation, automation and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality and operational performance
- →Ensure manufacturing processes, equipment and technologies support production requirements and customer expectations
- →Lead engineering activities related to new product launches, APQP and process validation
- →Manage departmental resources, including CAPEX and OPEX budgets
- →Promote Lean Manufacturing, TPM and structured problem-solving methodologies
- →Support production capacity planning and manufacturing capability development
- →Collaborate with Production, Quality, Supply Chain and Central Engineering teams to achieve business objectives
- →Ensure compliance with customer requirements, company standards and safety regulations
- →Lead, develop and engage multidisciplinary teams, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation and continuous improvement
- →Support talent development and succession planning within the department
Requirements
~1 min read- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering, including leadership experience
- Experience in the automotive manufacturing industry
- Strong knowledge of Manufacturing Engineering processes, APQP, Lean Manufacturing, TPM and continuous improvement methodologies
- Experience managing engineering projects, manufacturing processes and new product launches
- Proven experience leading Engineering, Maintenance, Continuous Improvement or Manufacturing Operations teams
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and drive strategic initiatives with minimal supervision
- Experience with automation, digitalization and manufacturing innovation initiatives is considered an advantage
- Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Good English language skill
