Engineering Technician

Shift: 40 hrs., M - F

Days, 7:00 am - 4:00 pm/8:00 am -5:00 pm

• →

  The Engineering Technician demonstrates willingness to perform any required task to support medical center operations.

• →

  Routes work orders to appropriate craft/shop for follow-up and completion.

• →

  Checks DIN book at each nurse’s station and makes repairs or reports them to Facilities Management.

• →

  Reads and interprets blueprints, schematics, and mechanical drawings for job completion.

• →

  Maintains current and accurate work order documentation within 24 hours of work performed.

• →

  Ensures quality of work with no more than two callbacks on the same job per month.

• →

  Consistently meets preventive maintenance schedules.

• →

  Maintains knowledge of main panels and shutoffs for HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.

• →

  Complies with healthcare, federal, state, and local rules and regulations. Other duties as assigned.

  Monitors building conditions and communicates needs to Facilities Management.

• →

  Covers shifts or specific assignments as required by medical center needs.

• →

  Performs repairs and preventive maintenance as directed.

• High School/Equivalent grad OR 5+ years experience [Required]

• 0+ general [Preferred]

• Driver's License (DL) [Required]
