Front Office Patient Scheduler

Schedule:

• Screens and assists incoming phone calls and visitors to ensure appropriate efficient routing within the department and hospital. 
• Oversees prompt distribution of treatment plans of care and status and discharge reports to physician offices, insurance companies, and other entities as required.
• Meets or exceeds accuracy standard and scheduling goal as set by the department.
• Assists clinical staff with patient care, carrying out assigned activities/duties.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Intermediate computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak conversational English.

• Associate [Preferred]
• High School Grad or Equiv [Required]

• 1+ front desk, scheduling, patient registration experience [Preferred]

• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Preferred]
