Senior Mechanical Engineer

Aeolus Robotics is seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Mechanical Engineer who has experience at dynamic mechanical modules and is passionate about robotics. This role is based in Taipei (Taiwan). Candidates must be located in Taiwan already. Key responsibilities: • Developing & design HW prototypes to meet engineering requirement. • Manage & coordinate HW Cost & Weight to meet pre-define target. • Develop & deliver standard process document to ensure engineering quality, including but not limit to (PRD / 3D / 2D / FMEA / CAE / DFX etc.,) • Ensure design and manufacturing quality till mass production. • Derive the humanoid robot design guide or knowledge. In this role, you will: • Involve with Humanoid robotic System Architects, Industrial standard definition, etc., • Work with PM / Hardware / Software / Quality / Factory and other support teams. Requirements Experience: • BSc/MSc/PhD in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics or relevant field. • 5+ years experience in dynamic Mechanical Engineering. Requirements: • Mature CAD capability, Solidworks is preferred. • Good in English (Fluency in Mandarin a big plus). • Experience with dynamic mechanical module or system design & development. • Experience with New product design & development from 0 to mass production. • Superb creativity, vision, and problem-solving skills. • Excellent interpersonal skills and self-confidence. • Great written and verbal communication skills. • Curiosity and a growth mindset. Preferred Requirements: • Hands on project management skill and knowledge • Well knowledge of new product develop engineering.
