Monday to Thursday, 7:00 am to 4:00 pm
Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Install, maintain, and troubleshoot research and manufacturing process equipment, including electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, and plumbing systems.
- →Troubleshooting complex components and electrical issues.
- →Experience with basic troubleshooting of Allen Bradley, Rockwell or Siemens PLC's.
- →Relocate equipment as needed, including assembly and dismantling procedures.
- →Perform diagnostics and repairs on various research and manufacturing equipment.
- →Conduct analytical troubleshooting to identify and resolve equipment irregularities.
- →Develop and implement innovative solutions for equipment and process malfunctions.
- →Identify opportunities for improvement and cost savings through equipment optimization.
- →Conduct corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance in laboratory and production environments.
- →Maintain accurate maintenance records within the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and other facility information systems.
- →Document repair histories and manage spare parts inventory.
Requirements

- Red Seal certification or Nova Scotia provincial electrical certification (Electrician codes: Red Seal: 442A / Federal NOC number for the Electrician is 72200 is required.
- Post-secondary education in a mechanical trade program or an engineering technician program is required.
- 5+ years of maintenance experience in an industrial or commercial manufacturing facility.
- Troubleshooting complex components and electrical issues.
- 2+ years of experience in a regulated environment; food, aerospace, biologics, or pharmaceuticals, with a knowledge of Standard Operating Work Procedures a plus.
- Experience with computer-based maintenance software (BMRAM, Maximo, SAP, etc) is a plus.
