About the Role

~1 min read- →Lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of both front-end and back-end components
- →Ensure alignment with business requirements, compliance standards, and architectural principles
- →Promote modular, reusable, and maintainable code across all development efforts
- →Build lightweight, scalable, and efficient web and mobile applications tailored to life insurance operations
- →Translate design mock-ups and wireframes into responsive and interactive interfaces.
- →Implement pixel-perfect designs using modern design frameworks.
- →Optimize performance and user experience across platforms
- →Leverage modern backend technologies
- →Design and implement robust, secure, and well-documented APIs to support internal and external integrations (e.g., payment gateways, CRM, underwriting engines).
- →Ensure APIs follow RESTful standards, include proper authentication (OAuth2, JWT), and are version-controlled.
- →Maintain API gateways and monitor usage and performance.
- →Take full ownership of the CI/CD pipeline, from code integration to production rollout.
- →Ensure zero-downtime deployments, rollback strategies, and post-deployment validation.
- →Define and enforce coding standards, testing protocols, and review processes.
- →Implement unit testing, integration testing, and assist performance testing as part of the SDLC guideline by AIA.
Requirements
~1 min read- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in full-stack development, including both front-end & back-end technologies such as JavaScript, Java (Sprint Boot, Kotlin), Python, C#, .Net core, Docker, Kubernetes)
- Proven experience in managing full software development lifecycle, from design to production deployment.
- Strong track record of developing APIs and scalable applications.
- Experience in overseeing external vendors or development partners, ensuring alignment with project goals and technical standards.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control systems and software release processes.
- Prior experience with cloud platforms (Azure DevOps and AWS Code Pipeline
- Strong Communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good time management skill and ability to work on multiple projects concurrently.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, collaborative environment.
