The CI&S Project Leader supports the commercial teams during the business development phase.
The CI&S Project Leader ensures cost calculation, project preparation, execution and handover of all projects related to customer Installation, manage lead time, budget and scope, keeping in mind legal obligations, AL standards, quality and best practices.
The CI&S Project Leader will not only oversee the operational scope of the project, but will also manage costs, reporting, and lead time, depending on the specific requirements of the project and ensure legal and IMS compliance.
The CI&S Project Leader will cooperate with Project Managers EIM Engineering on more complex and non standard projects.
The CI&S Project Leader ensures the implementation of the environmental legislation, works in line with the ISO 14001 standard, respects the good environmental practices and shows a positive attitude with regard to the preservation of the environment.
The Project Leader will support the sales representative in the opportunity / business development phase.
Ensure that a clear scope has been defined during the business development phase.
Define the necessary services and the appropriate equipment including the Assets in collaboration with the Assets team.
Prepare specifications and perform RFQs together with Procurement, if applicable.
Develop technical proposals, including budgetary and scheduling requirements, to support the creation of commercial offers.
Ensuring that a complete and clear design basis is established
Takes the initiative to start the PRA (if applicable), which will be led by the PRMR, and will provide support to the SHE department for other risk assessments if needed.
Obtains validation from Design Authority or uses validated standard designs
Will participate during the offer / contract / Design Basis review
Lead project execution upon budget approval.
Obtain needed legal permits
Acquire and obtain required parts and services
Installations will be constructed using internal Air Liquide staff or external contractors.
Ensure timely project reviews and project reports to stakeholders (especially sales reps).
Announce and manage change orders if any (deviations from initial scope).
Management for reservation of assets (Vessels, Heaters, Mixers and other invested equipment
Supervise and executes start-up and commissioning procedures, or assigns these responsibilities to qualified personnel, and ensures adherence to PSSR and RTOR protocols.
Completes technical files and hands them over to operations
Initiate project closure
Provides feedback on project’s lessons learned together with all involved stakeholders
Provides necessary information to maintenance teams for implementation maintenance plans on invested equipment
Determines working budget for continuous maintenance purposes
Communicates the completion of investment orders to accounting / investment control to allow proper and timely activation of installed assets
Provides support during the lifetime of the customer installations (ARA / LOPA / HAZOP, MOC, compliance assessments, audits, …)
Manage “tank dance projects”, installation modifications and dismantlings
Reports anomalies
Academic or professional Master /bachelor in Engineering (Mechanical, Electromechanics, Chemical or equivalent)
Mechanical or Electro Mechanical or equivalent with solid field experience
Fluent in French and English
Understanding of procedures and regulatory for new and existing industrial installations
Strong knowledge of engineering & projects methodologies & maintenance activities
Technical understanding of gas physical and production processes
Strong understanding of Safety procedures
